I noticed in yesterday’s Evening Standard, today, that Ruth Rendell’s house, the Old Forge in Groton, Suffolk, is up for grabs.
The asking price is £720,000, so it’s a relatively modest abode for a best-selling peer. You should see Jeffrey Archer’s place near Cambridge.


I wonder if she’s selling her ‘success vitamins’ separately or if it’s the house… 😉
