Pushkin Vertigo

Pushkin_logoReading through the latest issue of CADS I noticed an announcement of the launch of a new classic crime series at Pushkin Press. Called Pushkin Vertigo, the new imprint promises:

Writers of the greatest thrillers and mysteries on earth, who inspired all those that followed. Writers whose talents range far and wide – a mathematics genius, a cultural icon, a master of enigma, a legendary dream team.

Unlike other publishers, they are taking an international view of classic crime, and will be bringing out titles by Boileau-Narcejac, Leo Perutz, and Soji Shimada in their first wave of books.

You can find out more on their leaflet, available here.

Sounds mouthwatering! They could do with making the covers a bit more legible, though.

It would be great to see some of Boileau and Narcejac’s books appearing, but not VERTIGO. It’s a great book but it’s already fairly easy to get hold of.
