Maigret’s Dead Man trailer

ITV has released the trailer for the second Maigret film starring Rowan Atkinson. I enjoyed the last one (see my review at The Killing Times), although the general reaction was one of ‘so what?’.

Still, ITV are clearly confident, as the two-hour film will be shown on Christmas Day at 9pm.

    i confess I’m in the ‘so what’ camp – I found the first story so dull I scanned through most of it…..

    I really wanted to love the last one, and just couldn’t. It just isn’t close enough to the character in the books for me – now, if Roger Allam were cast …
